In this frenzied time of division, conflict, and concern about life, country, and earth – songs can be the respite. Songwriters help us navigate ourselves and the world around us by modelling reflection. Adding melody, harmony, and some rhythm, the reflection finds a stage with a community surrounding it.
In this spirit, The Gallery welcomes three songwriters to the stage this Saturday evening, April 27 at 7:30pm. Prateek Poddar, Rachel Marie, and Molly Pinto Madigan will share their craft in an intimage evening of original songs. Known to many in New England, Poddar, Marie, and Madigan are unique in their delivery, themes, and background. Yet they have in common the gift of capturing what many of us may feel, think, or wonder about in song.
Opening act will be Duo Sessions with Niko Malinowski, guitar and Sam Bigus, bass.
