The Gallery will host a Diwali Dhamaka festival celebration on November 1 at 6:00 complete with all the essentials: music, dance, food, and great people. This occasion will offer those unfamiliar with the Hindu festivals a chance to experience the delights of this festival of lights that offers a symbol for a victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
Ticket fee of $10 will cover food and includes access to ticket holder and one guest. Tickets can be purchased online.
We encourage purchases be made in advance to ensure a count for the food preparation.
The evening will begin as Mayor Gary Christenson lights the candle to open the official program of the evening.

Vivek Sonar is melodious flutist from India. He is disciple of Hindustani Classical flutist Shri Sunil Patil (Zee Yuva Sangit Samrat fame) under teacher-disciple lineage from last 8 years. Vivek has performed on various stages in India and Colombia.
He was part of most prestigious flute symphony of India “Bansuri Utsav” and shared stage with Padma vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad ji Chaurasia . He was also part of largest flute ensemble , which is recorded in Limca book of records . His expertise is in exploring ragas and raga based songs.
This occasion is possible thanks to the wonderful collaboration of several Malden residents and Gallery volunteers.
