A Lantern-Making Workshop this Saturday, May 26

Saturday, May 26
10am to 12pm

Lantern-making workshop for…

In preparation for the Third Annual Lantern Walk to be hosted by Friends of Fellsmere Heights on June 2, Ginny Remedi-Brown, selling artist at The Gallery, will offer a lantern making workshop for adults and children (6 and over).

Students will transform large 3 liter clear plastic bottles (their tops removed), into delightful colorful lanterns. Using a simple solution of Elmer’s glue and colored tissue paper and wide paint brushes, students will discover how easy and fun it is to create something beautiful.

Held at The Gallery, the workshop will last 10am to 12pm. But each lantern takes about one hour to make so students can come at 10am or 11am.

Purchase tickets for every individual making a lantern. Children, $5; Adults $10. Cost covers supplies, time, and space.

Note: children may not be left unaccompanied by an adult.
