Twilight Memory

CATHERINE GRANESE
Stoneham

I have always believed that each person should have a leisure pursuit to release tension and give imagination room to flourish. Although experienced in many areas of needlework, it was quilting that presented a true challenge to my creativity, artistic ability, imagination and sewing skills. I began exploring the traditional patterns and after a few years found my way outside the box. Many quilting avenues over the past twenty years have been explored using both hand and machine techniques.

Creating fiber art pieces using a variety of fabrics, threads and beads has become a passion. Each new piece is viewed as a challenge involving color, texture, design and technique. My educational background is in Mathematics which finds its way into everything I touch.
